Panning For Gold

Around five miles south of the cabin is an old gold mine and a number of streams where the prized Welsh Gold has been found. After a heavy rainfall, you still sometimes see 'panners' looking for gold. We are told you should use a piece of carpet to capture the particles of gold, we suggest that you take some wellies and if you have younger children it will keep them amused for hours, even on a rainy day!
